The IEEE Student Technical Chapter EMBS of Peru presents:

2nd IEEE EMBS International Student
Conference in Latin America

The IEEE EMBS Peru technical and student chapters have the honour to introduce the 2nd IEEE EMBS International Student Conference in Latin America (ISC LA 2018), an event of great importance for the promotion and dissemination of biomedical engineering research in Latin America, which will be held in September 27-28, 2018 at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. The main theme of the conference is the "Impact of diversity of biomedical techniques and trends in society", who will cover diverse topics of broad research and cutting-edge innovation topics in biomedical engineering, health technology, I + D, translational clinical research, technology transfer and entrepreneurship, and education in biomedical engineering. The event will be developed in 2 days and, in addition to the high-profile keynote speech, the conference program will feature exhibitions, workshops, invited sessions and technology fairs for students, professionals and companies. We will have the participation of a special guest: Steven Wright, vice president for member and student activities for the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS).
