Welcome to the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society International Student Conference (ISC) to be held at Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, in Lima, September 27th –  28th, 2018. The main theme of the conference, inspired by the Latin American bicentennial “Impact of Diversity of Biomedical Techniques and Trends”.

Instructions for the abstracts

Abstracts must contain 2500 characters (excluding title, author information, and blank spaces) at most, divided into three sections:

(1) Background, Motivation and Objective.
(2) Statement of Contribution / Methods.
(3) Results, Discussions and Conclusions.

The abstract may include a figure or table as deemed necessary, in wich case the character limit is 2000.

Abstracts Submission

Submissions will be reviewed by post-graduate students (blind peer) and selected abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings. Abstracts will be assessed based on quality, scientific merit, and best means of presentation. All abstracts will be screened for plagiarism.
