We aim through organizing this conference to deliver a unique experience to the biomedical engineering students that, in turn, shall encourage them to discover the rapidly evolving trends such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, and developing the means to exploit these technologies in the healthcare domain. We believe such experience will complement the very diverse engineering curricular subjects that may solely overwhelm students with many theoretical aspects without the realization of practical solutions that contribute to improving the healthcare quality. So we merely hope through this conference to impact students towards developing new and useful solutions in healthcare, or at least provide them with the insightful guidance towards these goals. We will also focus on cost-efficient, and/or mobile, solutions that address clinical issues in developing countries.
