Anastasia Ershova

Anastasia Ershova is a third-year PhD candidate in the Harvard Biological and Biomedical Sciences program, working in the Shih lab at the Wyss Institute, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and HMS Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology. Her research focuses on building self-assembling nanocomputers out of DNA. Previously, she has worked on various topics including regenerative biology, colour physics, biomaterials, and data science, holding a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. She is the founding vice-president for events of the Molecular Programming Interest Group, recipient of the Onassis Scholarship, and has been actively involved in many teaching, mentoring, and outreach initiatives to widen access to higher education.
