Important dates

Step-by-step instruction

1. Prepare the abstract of your work.
   • For your abstracts you may use the EMBS template. The abstract for the poster session may be no longer than 500 words. For the 4 – page paper session abstracts with 500 – 2500 words are required and may include one graph or one table. The required language is English. Use 10px Times New Roman font, and name your file according to the example: EMB-IEEE-ISC-abstract-poster/4pagepaper-authorname.pdf. The required format for abstracts is .pdf.


2. Submit your abstract
   • You should submit your abstract by the abstract submission deadline (27.11.2020) (29.11.2020) through the EasyChair system.


3. Until 02.12.2020 05.12.2020 you will receive a notification email whether your work has or has not been accepted.


4. Prepare your presentation.
   • By 08.12.2020 10.12.2020 you should send us the presentation file. You can present it live or you can send us a pre-recorded video of your presentation. Please note, that all materials from the authors will be checked for adherence to the specifications, which are:
     

     Session	Specifications
     Poster	Up to 5 minutes, max 5 slides
     4-page paper	Up to 15 minutes

     
     The first slide of your presentation should be prepared using our template, in which you may edit: title, author names and affiliations. You may use any style for subsequent slides. The video must be prepared with minimum height dimension 720 pixels and aspect ratio 16:9. The accepted formats for your presentation are: .mp4, .mpeg, .mpg, .mov, .avi, .wmv, .pdf, .pptx. The presentation file should be named according to the example: EMB-IEEE-ISC-poster/4pagepaper-authorname.mp4. You should send your presentation to conference.embs.isc@gmail.com, with email title: Poster session/4 – page paper session.


5. Make the payment.
   • The participation fee for authors is 34 €. The payment should be made to the following bank account:
     
     Name and address: “Academica” Students and Alumni Foundation of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, 10 Rostafińskiego Street, 30-072 Krakow,
     Account: Bank PEKAO S.A: 81 1240 4559 1978 0000 5420 4175
     Title: “ISC 2020 – First name, Last name, Surname, email address, University name”.
     Early registration has to be made until 27.11.2020 07.12.2020. Late registration can be made between 30.11 and 12.12.2020 07.12 and 12.12.2020 by sending a confirmation of the bank transfer to the email address: conference.embs.isc@gmail.com. In the title of the email write [Late Submission] and add first, last name, surname, e-mail, and the name of the university.


6. After confirming the payment you will receive a private link to the conference to the provided email address.


7. Until 31.12.2020 you should prepare full-manuscript. Detailed instructions for the full-manuscript preparation will be provided later.
