About ISC 2020
The IEEE Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society (EMBS) Ecuador student chapters have the privilege to introduce the 3rd IEEE EMBS International Student Conference in Latin America (ISC LA 2020), an event of great importance for the promotion and dissemination of biomedical engineering research in Latin America, which will be held in November 27-28, 2020.
This event aims to bring together IEEE Region 9 student representatives in a collaborative space where topics related to health and biomedicine will be discussed, thus allowing sharing knowledge about new trends in biomedicine in Latin America. Also, it is planned to develop a program including technical talks, forums, workshops, and research exhibitions prepared by the participating students on various topics related to health.

The IEEE ISC Ecuador 2020 aims to provide a space for collaboration and innovation for the discussion of topics related to new trends in health area in the region, waiting for the creation of forums and workshops that allow the development of new alliances between students from different countries to promote to increase student membership and retention rate in the region, and strengthening the presence of EMBS in the Andean region, or organizing an R9 student chapter chair meeting.
