Feria Estudiantil Latinoamericana de Bioemprendimiento

The Latin American Student Bioenterprise Fair is a commercial event, which seeks the participation of groups of students from different Latin American countries, to show before a qualifying jury the research and innovation of projects that improve the quality of life of the community and thus strengthen entrepreneurship in the region.

This Fair will be held on November 27 and 28 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (GTM-5). Proposals for bio-entrepreneurship projects can be submitted until November 17, 2020 through the following link.

FELB - Pitch Guideline

For the presentation of the pitch, the elements to be included within it will be the
following:

  • Creation of demand: Your presentation must demonstrate the relationship between the client and the value proposition in order to know how the demand for the product and / or service will be created. All the elements that make up your proposal, the comparison between existing solutions and other forms of value recognition will be considered.
  • Satisfaction of demand: Your model should show the way in which key activities and resources build products and services, so that demand can be satisfied. The team must demonstrate its understanding of key allies for a successful business.
  • Budget management: Your pitch should describe the flow of money. How is cash produced and invested? Taking into account financial metrics of the industry.
  • Team building: Within the pitch you will need to briefly explain the key roles within your team and the results necessary for your idea to be successful, as well as the different roles to keep the company running.
  • Staging: Your presentation must be dynamic, that is, the development of the idea, the tone of voice of the team, among others, will be taken into account.
